Oxford Reference has now relaunched!
|
Oxford University Press is delighted to announce that Oxford Reference Online and the Oxford Digital Reference Shelf have now relaunched as Oxford Reference, the new home of Oxford’s quality reference publishing. Specifically designed to meet the needs and expectations of reference users, Oxford Reference has a fresh new design, a wealth of new, freely available material to aid discoverability and usability of the new site, and continues to provide quality, up-to-date reference material at the click of a button.You will have received a Migration Pack by email and post which includes details of important maintenance tasks, such as downloading new MARC records, you need to carry out. The new Oxford Reference allows users to:
- Cross-search concise definitions and read in-depth articles on topics from Art to Zoology
- Add context to their research journey with over 300,000 free Overview pages, 275 Timelines, and a free online only Quotations title
- Save their search journey, favourite books, and entries saving valuable time
- Share content with options to create bookmarks in social networking sites, email,and citation export
- Get facts and quotations delivered straight to their desktop with the ‘Did youKnow' RSS feed
Getting started with the new Oxford Reference:

new promotional material available to help you promote Oxford Reference.
