Scopus rolled out key site enhancements on Saturday, May 31, 2014.

Specific improvements include:

• An improved Author Profile page

Drawing on customer feedback and usability testing, these changes are designed to further improve the overall Scopus user experience. The author profile page now portrays an at-a-glance snapshot of an author's productivity and improved basic functions, such as sorting and switching between documents all without having to leave or reload the page. Additionally, if an author's ORCID ID is associated with a Scopus profile then a direct link to that ORCID ID will display on the author details page.

These recent developments make now the ideal time to encourage your researchers to check their Scopus author profiles.

• A Simplified Chinese user interface

In addition to the improved author profile page, Scopus also launched a Simplified Chinese interface and help files in May. This is our second non-English language interface and is intended to improve the teach-ability of Scopus in mainland China.
