These bonus titles are provided at no additional cost, and subscribers may expect to see the new journal content appearing soon online. When planning for 2010 additions, MUSE took a very conservative approach to adding titles to the collections in recognition of tightening library budgets. However, thanks to the tremendous support of libraries and in continuance of our mission to support not-for-profit publishers, we are able to bring in more content this year at no additional cost. The 14 new titles include new journals from longtime MUSE publishers Penn State University Press, University of Nebraska Press, University of Illinois Press, and University of Toronto Press, among others. Three new publishers are joining MUSE, and one title, Southwestern Historical Quarterly, is returning to MUSE following a change in publisher a few years ago. Back volumes will be added to close gaps in coverage with previous issues of the journal in MUSE. All of the fourteen additional titles will be available to MUSE Premium Collection subscribers. Southwestern Historical Quarterly will also be available in the Standard Collection, and New Labor Forum will be included in the Social Sciences Collection. The 14 additional titles for 2010, by publisher, are: The Centre for Research in Young People's Texts and Cultures, University of Winnipeg: Jeunesse: Young People, Texts, Cultures The Murphy Institute, City University of New York: New Labor Forum Penn State University Press: The Journal of Medieval Religious Cultures Utopian Studies Purdue University Press: Philip Roth Studies Texas State Historical Association: Southwestern Historical Quarterly University of Illinois Press: American Journal of Theology & Philosophy University of Nebraska Press: Nouvelles Etudes Francophones StoryWorlds: A Journal of Narrative Studies University of Pennsylvania Press: Humanity: An International Journal of Human Rights, Humanitarianism and Development University of Texas Press: Studies in Latin American Popular Culture University of Toronto Press: Canadian Journal of Information and Library Science University of Wisconsin Press: Ecological Restoration Victorian Studies Association of Western Canada: Victorian Review A comprehensive list of all 2010 new titles and additions to MUSE collections may be found at http://muse.jhu.edu/about/new/upcoming.html. A total of 30 new titles and one returning title are joining MUSE this year. Questions about 2010 new titles may be directed to MUSE Customer Support at muse@press.jhu.edu. _______________________________________________ http://muse.jhu.edu MUSE Subscriber Support: muse@press.jhu.edu |
